"Lean on Me" Retreat!

At Camp Hidden Lake

Matthew 7:7-8 (Prayer)
Jeremiah 29:11014a (Purpose)
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10; 12 (Community)
2 Thessalonians 2:15-17 (Tradition, the Bible, Morality, and Service)

As kids, we might remember the excitement involved in the game of "hide and seek." Consider this: Did you prefer hiding alone and being the last one found, or did you prefer to go looking, searching, trying to find what is hidden? Come out of hiding and seek the Truth with us.

Join Holy Family Middle School for Seek!
Seek truth, seek wisdom, seek knowledge, seek friendship, seek inspiration, seek joy, seek faith, seek life, seek Jesus!

The Seek curriculum is based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the YouCat and the Catholic Youth Bible. Seek provides a place for kids to encounter Jesus in meaningful ways and builds a solid foundation that helps kids feel confident about their Catholic faith. Meeting consistently over a three-year cycle will help kids have a solid foundation in their faith and a solid group of friends on the seek journey with them!

The Seek program covers: Scripture, Creed, Church Magisterium, Sacraments, Prayer, Morality, Mysteries of our faith, the Catechism, Social Justice, Community Service and Social Nights!

We meet after the 5:00 pm Sunday Mass
Sunday Nights: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
A home-school option is also available.

Join us throughout the year for more events!
Retreats. Day Camp. Socials. Mission Trip to Atlanta to serve and pray with the Homeless. Living Station of the Cross. Teen track Eucharistic Congress, Catholic Fest, VBS, 5 pm Mass volunteer ... and more!

The “Lean on Me” Retreat, January 16–18, 2026, is now open for registration!

At Camp Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, Georgia.

Any child in 6th through 8th grade is welcome to attend.

Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, is the last day to register your child to attend.
The links will expire at midnight on this day.

As parents, you help your children prepare for high school, college, and other major life events, now, you can help them prepare for a lifelong journey of faith. The retreat experience allows your child to step out of his/her busy daily schedule. Time away from other distractions allows participants to journey within their hearts and experience the presence of God in a unique way. We strongly encourage you to adjust your schedules and make this a priority for your child. Our goal is for them to come away with a deeper appreciation of their faith, their God and build strong new relationships with their peers, all designed to help them navigate the often-troubled waters of adolescence.

Both forms need to be completed to attend.
These two forms are to be completed by both the leadership and the children who will be attending.
