First Holy Communion

Preparation for the Sacrament of First Communion is an entire family affair, involving parents and students. There are 3 preparation classes for the child and at least one parent to attend in order to receive the Sacrament this year - Please click on the button below to download the Parent Information and Dates for the Preparation Classes!

Preparation is offered to students age 7 and older. At the direction of the Archbishop, the following guidelines for First Eucharist preparation are necessary. These guidelines will help ensure thorough and appropriate preparation of your children for the sacraments.

In addition to their regular religious education classes there are three special First Eucharist preparation classes that meet Thursday evenings in the winter. In the spring, we meet for the Banner Making night and the church rehersals. For specific dates, times and rooms, view the Faith Formation Calendar
