"They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to prayers."
Acts 2: 42
Young Adults Ministry
Abide Catholic Young Adult Ministry will host an Emmaus Night (Eucharistic Adoration, a coffeehouse environment, a talk, and dinner at a restaurant) at St. Thomas the Apostle on November 16, starting at 6:30 pm in the Community House. This continues our series that focuses on the apparent contradiction between faith and reason. Our speaker, Steven Shlapak, studied philosophy at Notre Dame Seminary and wrote his master's thesis on the problem of suffering. Steven will be speaking on "The Problem of Evil: Why Does God Allow Suffering?"
