Adult Faith Formation

Growing the family of God, by learning and sharing God’s words, is our mission here at Holy Family Catholic Church.  To continue on that same path, Adult Faith Formation presents, “Oasis”, a 45 minute opportunity for fellowship, exploring our Catholic faith, and an “Ask Father” session. We will meet the first Sunday of each month, in the multipurpose room from 9:45am to 10:30am. From the prophet Isaiah 32:2 we read, “Each of them will be a shelter from the wind, a retreat from the rain.  They will be like streams of water in a dry country”.  Here is your chance to disconnect from the world and reconnect with our Catholic faith through learning. “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among  them” (Matt. 18:20).  Come and join us in fellowship with Christ, the Church and all the saints. -Father Junot

Paul’s letter to the Romans has been at the center of reflection, conversion, and controversy from the very beginning. Presented by Dr. Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins, Romans: The Gospel of

Salvation provides an authentically Catholic way to understand this challenging epistle. Above all, it will help you enter into a more meaningful relationship with Christ.

”Many Catholics fear Romans as a ‘Protestant’ Epistle of Paul, but in this lavishly illustrated and attractive study, Swafford and Cavins present Catholics with a study that is both profound yet accessible—based on the best contemporary scholarship and faithful to the Church’s tradition. I’ve seldom seen Catholic bible study materials this good!

—John Bergsma, professor of theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville
