Scouting programs are an important aspect of youth ministry. We believe that the values, skills and principles stressed in our scouting activities strengthen the foundation upon which our children will build as they journey to adulthood. Leadership, teamwork and self-reliance entwined with scouting principles provide the framework for our skills achievements. Fun is a meeting priority and special outings are planned each month. Our units have trained leaders, including three adult Eagle Scouts and two Wood Badge Bead holders, who attend monthly leadership workshops to ensure that the highest level of scouting is maintained.
