Important! In-Person Protocol!

IMPORTANT! READ ALL BEFORE BRINGING YOU CHILD TO ANY IN-PERSON EVENT!

We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe experience. To do that, we all play a part in keeping our church, staff, volunteers, families and children safe. Holy Family is following the CDC and Archdiocese of Atlanta's guidelines for meeting in person. Your child needs to be enrolled in the 2020-21 program. Wednesday nights and Sunday nights we will have a limited in-person ticket sign up option sent to families enrolled in the 2020-21 Edge program. In-person will have 25 or less kids at each offering. You must register your children for an in-person ticket prior to coming to any in-person event. Before you sign up for an in-person event. Parents are expected to keep their children home if they are sick and use our Virtual option or Home School option.

  • Carpool is the only method for drop off and pick up. Drive your car up to the covered side-door entrance in front of the church. Have your child step out of the car. We will take their temperature. If your child’s temperature is less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, they will be directed to proceed to the programming area. If your child’s temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit or > they will immediately get back in the car and proceed home with you for the evening.

  • A cloth face covering that covers your nose and mouth is required at all times while on the premises. The mask is meant to protect other people in case you are infected. You could spread COVID-19 to others, even if you don't feel sick.

  • Follow healthy hygiene practices at all times. Washing your hands regularly before touching surfaces or touching your face.

  • Physical distancing will be maintained at all times while on the premises.

  • Church protocol in-place for in-person: https://www.holyfamilycc.org/reopening

Before you bring your children to ANY in-person event, you must be able to answer NO to ALL these questions. If you can not answer NO to ALL these questions on the DAY OF THE EVENT, you will need to keep your child at home this week and as noted below:

  • Does your child have a temperature of 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or higher?(Don’t take your temperature within 30 minutes of exercising or after taking medications that could lower your temperature, like acetaminophen.)

  • Does your child have shortness of breath?

  • Does your child have a cough that causes difficulty breathing? (If your child has chronic allergic/asthmatic cough then a change in their cough from baseline?)

  • Does your child have diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain?

  • Does your child have a severe headache, especially with a fever?

  • Does your child have chills or body aches?

  • Has your child lost their ability to smell/taste?

  • Has your child been in contact with anyone under treatment for or exposed to anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 Positive + test result in the last 14 days? (If yes, you will need to wait 14 days from the time of exposure before you can attend an in-person event)

  • Has your child been tested for COVID-19 with a Positive + or pending result within the last 14 days? (If yes, you will need to wait 14 days AND be re-tested with a Negative - test result before you can attend an in-person event).

  • Has your child traveled to or lived in an area where the local, Tribal, territorial, or state health department is reporting large numbers of COVID-19 cases as a hotspot by the CDC?

  • Does your child live in an area of high community transmission described as a hotspot by the CDC?

Thank you for confirming you have home screened your child. If you are unable to bring your child to an In-Person event, you can check in virtually on-line or home school the event. If the event is live-streamed, you can watch online. We look forward to having your child in our EDGE program this year!
