Our Holy Family Adopt-a-Cop Ministry is working with our Precinct 4 police officers for a night out with the Cobb County law enforcement agencies. National Night Out is right around the corner and TRUST US, you do not want to miss it this year! Last year, the Community Affairs Unit put on this evening out for the citizens of Cobb County and despite a rain shower that came through and threatened to scare away potential crowds, roughly two thousand citizens came out to enjoy the music, bouncy houses, vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment. We are hoping to up those rookie numbers this year as we have gotten even MORE bouncy houses, entertainment, vendors, and food trucks to participate this year! National Night Out is an initiative by local law enforcement agencies to sponsor a night for the community to come out and mingle with the public safety members that serve their community. We brought out all of our toys including our Mobile Command Vehicle, K-9 Unit, SWAT truck, the motorcycles from the Motors Unit, and even the dirt bikes from the Ranger Unit last year. This year will be no different so grab some friends, the family, and anyone else you can find and come join us! Holy Family is a sponsor for this event and we will be hosting one of the inflatables or the children's train ride. If you would like to help for a couple hours that night please contact me. It should be a lot of fun and you may meet your police officer. Many from our Precinct 4 will be there. The event will be held at Jim Miller Park (2245 Callaway Road SW, Marietta, GA 30008) on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 from 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. This event is FREE to the public (except the food trucks) so come out and have a great time!
