Due to recent events brought to light by the Pennsylvania report, many concerned parishioners have reached out to us in an effort to understand this crisis and to connect with other concerned parishioners in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. In response, the Aquinas Center is hosting an event entitled Sex Abuse Crisis: Fact, Fiction, Future” with speaker Fr. Gerard McGlone, S.J. This event will address the many misconceptions of this crisis, the complexity of the facets that led to our current crisis, and will help foster positive lay leadership. We hope you can join us.

Speaker Biography: A psychotherapist for nearly 30 years, Fr. McGlone served as the co-director of research and staff therapist at the National Institute for the Study, Prevention, and Treatment of Sexual Trauma. He has four master’s degrees: one in divinity, one in theology and two in clinical and counseling psychology, as well as a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
