Confirmation for High School Teens

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is an entire family affair, involving parents and students.

Student preparation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the spring of 10th grade. The requirements are:

• Candidate must be baptized Catholic (certificate on file in Faith Formation Office.
• Candidate must have received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
• Candidate must be registered in the parish and active in Faith Formation, Life Teen or another approved activity.
• Candidate must be registered in the Holy Family Faith Formation program.
• Candidate must attend Faith Formation class through the 8th grade.
• Attendance of The R.O.C. Confirmation preparation activities and events throughout the 2003-2004 academic year.

Specific information, dates and times will be distributed at the Confirmation parent’s meeting in the Fall of 2003.
