Holy Family Faith Formation

Adult and Parent Enrichment

Parish Office | (770) 973-0038

Recently the United States Bishops gave us the National Directory for Catechesis. The following quote explains the Whole Community Approach that Faith Formation at Holy Family is taking. "The Catechetical Plan should reflect the priority of adult catechesis, taking into account the cultural, racial, and ethnic groups, persons with disabilities, the neglected, and those unable to represent their own rights and interests." The parish goal for adults is life-long learning and spiritual growth.

Watch the Journey page in the Sunday bulletin for more details on the following: Little Rock Scripture Study; Small Faith Communities studying the "Why Catholic" Renew program during Advent and Lent; Life Issues with topics to include Christian Burial, Process of Aging, Care of the Elderly, Annulments, and Divorce; and Parenting Programs including Setting Safe Boundaries within the Home or "Who's in Charge?" Internet Safety - parent awareness and Children's Spiritual development.

Knowledge of Scripture is knowledge of Christ. Allow the Scriptures to become more relevant in your life as you explore the Church's teaching in a group discussion format. Our Little Rock Scripture Study on Job begins the week of January 28, 2007. The study meets Sunday evenings at 6:15 p.m., Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m., or Tuesday mornings at 9:45 a.m. The study is about two months long. All programs will be held in the Education Center. The Registration form may be left at the table top display in the hallway outside rm. 202. Please contact Ed MacLead by email or at 770-971-7314 or 404-216-2931. with any questions.
